Anxiety and Panic Attacks
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy is the therapeutic use of hypnosis. Imagine our mind as two parts, the conscious and sub-conscious minds. Our sub conscious mind looks after most of what we do, our emotions and behaviours, processing what we see and hear and so on. It also looks after our safety. If, on our life path, we experience something, perhaps a trauma of some form, our subconscious can learn that this is to be avoided. If the situation arises again, then the subconscious kicks in and we feel the need to run or fight. This is the root of many phobias and destructive behaviours. In hypnosis, we can access the subconscious and suggest that the original trauma was not as bad. Then, in the future, the destructive behaviour lessens or disappears completely. Hypnotherapy is a great therapy for conditions such as- Stop smoking
- Weight management
- Confidence, self esteem
- Phobias (spiders, flying etc)
- Stress, anxiety, panic attacks
NLP
NLP is a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. It is about effective communication. Neuro refers to the brain, our neurology, our nervous system that links our body and mind through which our experience is processed. Linguistics refers to the language we use, including non-verbal and self communication. Using NLP, we remember when we got things right, when things worked. We capture and anchor those positive feelings and apply techniques to bring these positive feelings forward should the situation arise again.NLP is great therapy for conditions such as
- Exam nerves
- Improving sports performance
- Phobias

EFT
Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is one of many therapies occasionally referred to as "energy psychology". It is a form of alternative psychotherapy, that is based on a theory that negative emotions are caused by disturbances in the body's energy system and that tapping on acupuncture points while focusing on a specific traumatic memory balances the system, thereby neutralizing the negative emotion.
EFT can offer excellent therapy for emotional issues of many types.
